Obama's Home Owner Plan

President Barrack Obama recently announced that he is working on a new plan called The Homeowner

Affordability & Stability Plan. The purpose of this plan is to help stem the tide of foreclosures in

the United States. In our multiple income streams investing strategy we teach the power of running an investing business

that involves stopping foreclosure through a variety of different profitable strategies. Therefore, any

legislation that involves stopping foreclosures is something that we as foreclosure investors need to

be aware of. Initially, when you hear of a plan like this, you might think that this plan is going to be bad for

investors. If the government bails people out of foreclosures, that eliminates the need of the services

we as investor provide.

However, when you hear Obama’s comments about this plan, they clearly indicate that this plan is not

going to be a simple government handout to everyone who is in foreclosure. As such, there will still be

a tremendous demand for investors who offer stop foreclosure services. Here is what Obama had to say about his plan… “But I also want to be very clear about what this plan will not do: It will not rescue the unscrupulous

or irresponsible by throwing good taxpayer money after bad loans.” “It will not help speculators who took risky bets on a rising market and bought homes not to live in

but to sell. It will not help dishonest lenders who acted irresponsibility, distorting the facts and

dismissing the fine print at the expense of buyers who didn’t know better.” “And it will not reward folks who bought homes they knew from the beginning they would never be able to

afford. In short, this plan will not save every home.” So based on the President’s comments, it is abundantly clear that his foreclosure prevention plan will

not save every single home that is in foreclosure. As a result, those homeowners who find themselves in foreclosure that don’t qualify to have their home

saved under the President’s foreclosure plan will have no choice but to either sell their home or let

their home go to foreclosure. This is where we as investors come in. In order to limit the amount of foreclosures, we as investors must offer our services to the

marketplace so that the homeowners who don’t qualify for the plan know what their options are.
